I was recently commissioned by some bad-ass student protesters in UK to make a group portrait they could use for posters and such. They found me via the message board for podcast of which we’re both fans (Note the Citizen Radio t-shirt on the dread-locked fellow, Andy). The group is protesting the massive budget cuts by the current UK government that are raising tuition by as much as three-fold. Insane! I definitely support their cause and believe everyone is entitled to an affordable education.
It was a blast to work on, and I’m pretty happy with how the likenesses came out.
You can read more about the protest group, their cause, and why the hell I put a micro pig in their poster by visiting their blog, Leeds Trinity Students Against Cuts, as well as their twitter feed (@OccupiedLTUC)and Facebook group.
And of course if you’d like to commission me to create artwork for you, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Here’s a project I’ve been sitting on for a bit before sharing. I was waiting to get my hands on an actual shirt so I could I photograph it. This is a T-Shirt illustration a drew for my awesome friends over at The Cinnamon Snail printed by my other awesome friends at Printosaurus. Awesome!
As far as I know, you can only buy one in person at the Cinnamon Snail truck itself. So if you’re lucky enough to be in Hoboken or Red Bank, New Jersey, then watchya waitin’ fer!? Go find out where Adam and the truck are on twitter!
Check out the back and the pink girls version (modeled by the lovely Laura) in the gallery:
My friend Adam of Cerified-Orgasmic called me up last week to do a couple 2×8 ft banner designs for his new Farmer’s market booth. Only had a few vector-cramming hours to get the whole thing done, but I’m happy with the results.
