Sketchbook cover

Love these recycled brown paper sketchbooks. First off they’re (mostly) recycled, and they definitely don’t use any leather or plastics to make them. So score one for the environment. The brown paper is nice for experimental drawing too, since both light and dark marks pencils etc show up. However, my favorite part is that you can draw all over the cover!

Figured I’d share what I’ve been doodling on the cover of my sketchbook. At first i thought the drawing was ok, but after I drew all those patterns all over it I can’t stop staring at it when it’s on my desk. Hmm, maybe something like this would look cool as an all-over T-shirt print…
